Meet Our San Antonio Psychiatric Providers

Dr. Zarghoona Ullah completed her fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at UT Health San Antonio Health Science. Dr. Ullah is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and specializes in treatment-resistant depression, offering both TMS, Spravato, and ketamine infusion therapy alongside comprehensive medication management. She treats patients across the lifespan, from children, adolescents, to adults, across the practice's San Antonio and Boerne locations.

Dr. Kulsoom Sohail is a board-eligible psychiatrist dedicated to compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered mental health care. She earned her medical degree from Aga Khan University Medical College and completed her psychiatry residency at UT Health San Antonio. Her broad practice welcomes individuals with a wide range of mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, mood disorders, and other psychiatric conditions. She provides holistic, individualized care in a warm, respectful environment where patients feel heard and supported. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and photography. Dr. Sohail speaks English and Urdu.

Rhiannon Soukup is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner treating adult, child, and adolescent patients. Dedicated to behavioral health since 2009, she creates a warm, comfortable, and safe atmosphere where patients feel like they are talking to a supportive human being rather than sitting in a clinical office. She makes opening up easy and natural.

Meghan Parker is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who earned degrees from UT Tyler and Walden University. Inspired by her grandmother, Meghan is deeply committed to providing highly empathetic, patient-centered care. Her comprehensive clinical background spans critical care and psychiatric mental health, allowing her to deliver thoughtful, individualized support.

Carol Corales began her path into healthcare in 2002 as an EMT-Basic in Emergency Medical Services, later earning her Paramedic certification and spending nearly a decade in EMS. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2005, then returned to school in 2015 to become a Registered Nurse, working in acute rehabilitation, medical-surgical, and ICU settings, including periods of travel nursing. Shaped by her experiences on the job, including the COVID-19 pandemic, and in her own personal life, Carol saw a significant gap in mental health access and found her calling in psychiatric care. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas at Tyler with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health, and now brings a wide range of clinical experience and passion to the mental health care profession.

Natasha Best is a dual board-certified women's health and psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner and military veteran with more than 22 years of nursing experience. She earned her degrees from Syracuse University, the University of Cincinnati, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is passionate about creating a warm, welcoming space where patients feel heard, supported, and comfortable opening up. Natasha brings compassionate, whole-person care to the connection between mental and physical health.

Desiree Newsome is the Practice Manager, passionate about ensuring patients feel heard and supported from their very first interaction. She oversees daily operations and fosters a compassionate, welcoming environment. Strongly believing in communication and empathy, she takes pride in making the clinic a safe, collaborative space for both patients and staff.
